is there a real purpose for this sign in button?
The message about sign in to HF ~ that appears when you get stuck in Quota seems to be about this feature, so I put it on.
I was hoping that Quota would be loosened up. I'm not sure if it's actually loosening up when I try it...
If you read the source code, you can be sure, but I didn't put in any other malicious processing.
More precisely, there is no processing anywhere other than 1 line in app.py to attach the button and 1 line in README.md to turn on authentication. I was relieved to see that it doesn't seem to notify me just because someone signed in.
The settings are the default, so if you leave it 8 hours after signing in, it will sign you out.
But this feature is very scary because I have all the potentially dangerous stuff turned off in my space, but I can get into it pretty deep if I wanted to and turned it on.
This feature, depending on my settings, can even ask for your email address. Don't accidentally sign in suspiciously in someone's space who looks dangerous.
